Perry Mucci is a Canadian actor and writer best known for playing the role of Ozin in Syfy’s DEFIANCE and Norman Neale in the award-winning movie SIDEKICK.

He has appeared in television programs for the CBC, ABC, The CW, Hallmark Channel, Netflix, FX, and HBO and had roles in many short and feature-length films including NIGHTMARE ALLEY, BROTHERHOOD, BLOOD CREEK, and the Emmy Award-winning GREY GARDENS (alongside Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange).

For five seasons Perry was on stage at the St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival, where he played such roles as Romeo in Romeo & Juliet, Tranio in Taming of the Shrew, and Claudio in Much Ado About Nothing. Since 2011 he has performed regularly at the Upper Canada Playhouse in a variety of shows.

He is an alumnus of the Drama/English program at Queen’s University in Kingston and the acting program at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York, where he was the recipient of the Jehlinger Award.

Born in Cobourg, Ontario and raised in the village of Hastings, Perry and his family currently live just outside the city of Toronto.
