BIOGRAPHY

Perry is a graduate of Queen’s University in Kingston and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York.  He was born in Cobourg and grew up in the tiny village of Hastings, Ontario.  Now based in Toronto, Perry has worked as an actor across Canada and in parts of the United States. 

On stage he has worked with such groups as Theatre Etobicoke, Scaramouche Theatre, Touring Players, and the AADA New York Company.  He has performed for five seasons with the St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival in Prescott, Ontario, where he has played, among other roles, Tranio in Taming of the Shrew, Claudio in Much Ado About Nothing and Romeo in Romeo and Juliet.

In front of the camera, Perry has appeared in television programs for the CBC, Discovery Channel, and HBO.  He has also had roles in many short and feature-length films including Blood Creek, The Human Number, Grey Gardens (alongside Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange) and the award-winning Canadian indie Sidekick.

Perry and his wife currently live outside the city of Toronto.
