BIOGRAPHY

 

Perry Mucci

A graduate of Queen’s University in Kingston and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York, actor and writer Perry Mucci has worked across Canada and in parts of the United States.  He was born in Cobourg, Ontario, and grew up in the tiny village of Hastings.

On stage he has worked with such companies as Upper Canada Playhouse, Scaramouche Theatre, Touring Players and the AADA New York Company. He performed for five seasons with the St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival where he played, among other roles, Tranio in Taming of the Shrew, Claudio in Much Ado About Nothing and Romeo in Romeo & Juliet

In front of the camera, Perry has appeared in television programs for the CBC, CITY-TV,  Discovery Channel and HBO. He has also had roles in many short and feature-length films including Blood Creek, The Human Number, Grey Gardens (alongside Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange) and the award-winning independent film Sidekick.

Perry and his wife currently live outside the city of Toronto.
